Let me explain what "play together for a while" means. It does not mean come into my bedroom every 30 seconds. It does not mean that you suddenly must use the bathroom, need a drink, need a snack, need to ask me a question. It also does not mean watching tv or playing on the computer. It means PLAY. TOGETHER. as in with each other in some form of active movement. What does awhile mean? It means I will tell you when I am no longer ready to sell you to the gypsies.
Dear Small Children, I couldn't be happier to be the mom of two such beautiful girls. You have changed my world in more ways I can ever imagine. It is amazing and breathtaking to watch you grow. However, there are some days, days that if I only had the gypsies on speed dial. It's those days that I dedicate to your future selves and pass down the family wish. In the words of my mother and your grandmother, I hope that one day when you have children they will be just like you. Love, Your Mom
